Portal sessions are a beautiful coming together of energy work for your soul and intentional markings for your skin: a tattoo carrying the energetic intention woven into it.

Tattoo artist Noelle Marie brings her gentle medicine to each session, holding sacred space for her clients as we journey through the portal together.

Portal Sessions involve many different things, and each session is curated to the client's specific needs. Sessions begin with gentle breathwork to relax your body and then move into a beautiful guided meditation to center and ready you for this portal work.

Transitioning into a deep space holding where your intentions for your tattoo are spoken aloud in supportive conversation. Discussion of your specific intentions, what you are calling in, and what you’re releasing from yourself. This conversation can take other paths if you feel called and clients are welcome to explore and express any thoughts or emotions that may come up.

From there, Noelle offers a card reading from an oracle deck to further listen to what the universe is whispering to you.

Designs will always be approved by the client before being tattooed, and additional elements may be added at clients’ request. Please keep in mind that a Portal Session is truly a different experience, wherein your trust in what comes through for you is necessary. If you do not feel you will be able to let go of control in design, this service may not be for you. Designs are not sent out prior to the appointment.

Tattoos given in these sessions will generally be hand sized and done in black and grey shading. Placement of your tattoo may be chosen intuitively the day of your appointment, or purposefully beforehand. Noelle is happy to help you chose placement based on what different areas of the body represent and correspond to.

Your time at the studio for a Portal Session will be around four to five hours; please plan the rest of your day accordingly to give yourself a relaxing experience.

Portal Sessions are a full day in the studio (generally 4-5 hours) and are a flat rate of $950. A $100 deposit is taken to book your appointment, and goes toward the final cost of your session.
